1. The Short Version

We exist to help you read books, not to sell your data. We store your email to send you books. We store your reading progress to know which chapter to send next. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

2. Information We Collect

• Email Address: Required to deliver the daily book chunks.
• Reading Preferences: Which books you are reading, your current chapter, and your timezone/delivery hour settings.
• Usage Data: Timestamps of when you open emails or click links (used to prevent sending duplicate emails).

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We use Google Gemini (and potentially other LLMs) to generate "Previously On" recaps and book summaries.

• We do not send your personal email address or identifiable data to the AI.
• The AI processes the text of the public domain book to generate summaries.
• We may use AI to analyze your reading history (book titles only) to suggest new books.

4. Cookies

We use "Strictly Necessary" cookies (or magic tokens) to keep you logged in to your dashboard. We do not use third-party tracking cookies (like Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics) that follow you around the web.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate the service, we share necessary data with these providers:

• SendGrid (Twilio): To deliver emails.
• Google Cloud/DigitalOcean: To host our database and servers.

6. Account Deletion

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. To request a full deletion of your data, please reply to any of our daily emails.
